DR. LUIS MADERO LÓPEZ

Dr. Luis Madero

Dr. Luis Madero was born in Madrid. He obtained his medical degree at Complutense University of Madrid, graduating with distinction.

He specialized in Pediatrics in 1981 and he obtained his PhD with honors (“cum laude”) in 1985, with the thesis entitled “Pediatric Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma”.

He is a specialist in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, becoming certified by the Spanish Pediatric Society (AEP) in 1988.

Dr. Madero has been working in the field of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology for more than 37 years.

His work is carried out at University Hospital “Niño Jesús”, at Autonoma University of Madrid, and at University Hospital “Quirón” in Madrid.

Part of his work is carried out in the clinics, in his role as head of department at Children’s University Hospital “Niño Jesús”, and at University Hospital “Quirón”.

His academic and teaching activities derive from his position as full professor of the Pediatrics Department at Autonoma University of Madrid.

Last, Dr. Madero develops his research projects as lead investigator at Children’s University Hospital “Niño Jesús” and at Research Institute “La Princesa”.
